This minimum aged 8 Year Old Rum from Barbados is aged in white amercan oak casls which brings a complex and full flavour to the rum. The roots of Grand Kadoo can be traced back to the much-loved Barbadian 'Crop Over Festival,' especially the colourful carnival finale known as 'The Grand Kadooment.' The Crop Over Festival in Barbados, which dates back to 1687, commemorates the conclusion of the sugar cane harvest, a period when the island comes alive with music and dances in thanksgiving for the harvest's bounty. Grand Kadoo's rums, which are made in Barbados, are a celebration of this beautiful, colourful culture, and they are as varied as the past that surrounds this great spirit.
