The House of Elrick in Aberdeenshire has released its own Spiced Rum. House of Elrick have blended this rum with blood orange and a variety of spices like cinnamon, ginger, black peppercorn, nutmeg, caraway, to create a bright, warming flavour profile.
Tasting note: Big and bold, with a decent amount of heat from the cinnamon and ginger. Sugary pastries and chopped mint leaf, as well as orange, help to balance off the heat.
