Albrecht von Haller was a popular German physiologist and naturalist who founded the Old Botanical Garden of Göttingen University in 1736, which is where the botanicals for this gin come from. Halleria lucida, German ginger, and lemon verbana are handpicked in this German botanical garden, which has over 12.000 species, and transported to The Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo, Ireland, to make this German/Irish gin.
Tasting Note:
A refreshing, fragrant gin with soft juniper and ginger warmth, fuchsia and lemongrass.
