Clement VSOP Rhum Agricole is a distinguished expression from Martinique, carrying the coveted "AOC Martinique" designation which certifies its exceptional quality and traditional production. This rhum is uniquely distilled directly from fresh sugarcane juice, a method that imparts vibrant, grassy, and floral notes distinct from molasses-based rums. Following distillation, it undergoes four years of tropical aging in a combination of ex-Bourbon and French oak barrels. This maturation process develops its complex, mahogany-colored profile. The nose reveals aromatic notes of mocha, cocoa, salted toffee, and vanilla. On the palate, it is remarkably soft and balanced, offering overwhelming flavors of woody vanilla and toasted coconut. At 40% ABV, it is excellent for sipping or elevating classic rum cocktails.
