Hayman's Sloe Gin is a vibrant, ruby-hued liqueur crafted in England, maintaining a recipe rooted in Victorian-era tradition since the 1800s. This classic Sloe Gin is made by steeping wild sloe berries in Hayman???s distinctive gin base, which is distilled in their historic copper pot still, "Marjorie." The resulting liqueur achieves a perfect balance of sweet and tart, reflecting the essence of homemade berry jam. On the palate, the prominent fruit is supported by a gin backbone featuring juniper and citrus, with subtle, complex undertones of almond, vanilla, and cinnamon spice, along with a touch of marzipan. Bottled at 52 proof, this spirit is excellent for traditional cocktails or can be simply enjoyed over ice.
