Normindia Gin is a distinctive spirit distilled by the Drouin family in France, known primarily for their Calvados production. This premium gin is crafted using 15 botanicals, including traditional juniper, cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon, but it truly stands out due to the inclusion of fresh Indian lime and the double distillation process using their traditional copper pot stills typically reserved for aging spirits. The unique method, which involves slow distillation and a secondary short distillation after a 12-hour maceration, captures a remarkable freshness. This results in a complex yet balanced gin: the palate is immediately struck by vibrant citrus and a powerful floral bouquet, underpinned by classic spice and a long, smooth finish. It is bottled at 41.4% ABV.
