Pueblo Viejo A??ejo Tequila is a distinguished expression crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave, slow-cooked in traditional stone ovens. Following distillation, this tequila is patiently aged for approximately 18 months in high-quality white oak barrels, significantly longer than the legal requirement for an A??ejo. This extended maturation imparts remarkable depth and complexity, developing rich flavors of caramelized nuts, dried fruit, dark chocolate, and a silky vanilla finish. It retains a beautiful balance between the cooked agave and the toasted oak, offering a sophisticated and smooth profile that is best appreciated when sipped neat. It serves as an excellent benchmark for traditional, well-aged Mexican tequila.
