Ryoma Handcrafted Japanese Rum stands out as a genuine expression of Japanese craftsmanship, being one of the few rums entirely grown, distilled, and aged in Japan by the Kikusui Distillery. It is made exclusively from 100% local sugarcane, which is pressed for pure juice and also heated to create sugarcane honey, contributing to its unique complexity. The distillation process utilizes a rare stainless steel still, a choice that carefully rectifies the spirit less than traditional copper stills, thereby preserving the maximum amount of aromatic components from the cane. It is then aged for 12 to 18 months in new American white oak barrels, which ensures a delicate balance between the raw material???s full flavor and a sophisticated, gourmet finish. Ryoma is a pure rum designed for discerning palates.
