This expression showcases the concept of terroir, utilizing Ouverture barley harvested from Bannow Island fields. A complex cask maturation regimen, including First Fill ex-American Whiskey (36%), Virgin American Oak (21%), Premium French Oak (17%), and Vin Doux Naturel (26%), imparts a layered profile. The nose offers heather, spring flowers, and damp earth, leading to a palate of malty sweetness, vanilla, tropical fruits, and toasted oak.
