Auchentoshan Dark Oak is a triple-distilled single malt Scotch whisky, celebrated for its smooth texture and rich complexity. It achieves its deep character through maturation in a combination of bourbon, Oloroso, and highly prized Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. This unique cask combination imparts a profound profile. The nose reveals dark honey and the strong wood influence of coconut and vanilla, complemented by a delicate floral character and rich red berries. On the palate, expect a spicy and sweet experience, featuring notes of roasted hazelnuts, toffee, cr??me caramel, and candied apple. The finish is floral and sweet, culminating with hints of honeysuckle and caramel bars, making it a lively and refined malt.
