Cocchi Vermouth Dopo Teatro is a premium vermouth di Torino, distinguished by its deeply rich, bitter, and complex profile, inspired by the traditional custom of enjoying an intensely flavored *vermouth amaro* after the theatre. Crafted by Giulio Cocchi, it uses Nebbiolo wine as its base, infused with a blend of regional botanicals, notably gentian root, artemisia, and bitter wood. This expression is further enhanced by the addition of *China* (quinine) and a touch of Barolo Chinato, lending a beautiful depth and structured bitterness. Its color is a deep mahogany, and on the palate, it delivers a striking balance between sweetness, herbal complexity, and a long, assertive bitterness. It is excellent served chilled, traditionally neat with a twist of orange peel, or used as a bold, sophisticated modifier in classic cocktails like a Negroni or Manhattan.
