Darroze 12 Years Armagnac is a distinguished expression from the heart of Gascony, France, known for its commitment to single-estate bottlings. This 12-year-old Armagnac, unlike Cognac, is typically distilled once in a continuous still, retaining a richer, more rustic fruit and barrel character. This release offers a sophisticated balance, having spent over a decade maturing in French black oak casks, which imparts deep color and complex tannins. Expect an inviting nose of dried apricots, honeyed prunes, and toasted nuts, evolving into a palate rich with fig jam, orange peel, and vanilla spice.
