Hatozaki Pure Malt Whisky is an exceptional blend of 100% malt whiskies, sourced from distilleries throughout Japan and then married and aged in the coastal city of Akashi by the Kaikyo Distillery. This expression is celebrated for its delicate balance and smooth, approachable character. The maturation process includes aging in three distinct cask types???Sherry, Bourbon, and Mizunara oak???with the rare Mizunara adding subtle, coveted notes of incense and sandalwood. The result is a light golden spirit offering rich aromas of malt cereal, sweet dried fruit, and a whisper of smoke. The palate is refined and silky, delivering flavors of honeyed nuts, soft spices, and a hint of vanilla sweetness, leading to a clean, medium finish.
