Unlike typical unaged tequilas, Herradura Plata undergoes an industry-surpassing maturation of 45 days in imported American White Oak barrels. This process is unique to the brand, imparting a subtle "soft straw" color and a smoother, more complex profile. The resulting spirit is fresh, yet refined, with dominant notes of herbal agave, warm wood, and a distinct hint of vanilla from the oak aging. On the palate, it is mildly sweet with mellow notes of roasted agave, leading to a smooth, crisp, and clean finish.
