La Fleur d’Or is made by Bordeaux-based Sauternes expert Bill Blatch. Since 1995 Bill has used his enviable list of contacts to buy top-notch parcels of wine, the best of which make it into this classic blend. La Fleur d’Or is only made in superior vintages.
Tasting Note:
Apricot fruit, creamy patisserie notes and a certain citrus brightness, leads to a sweet yet beautifully balanced palate. Luscious but never cloying.
