It is rested, or "reposado," for a minimum of two months in ex-Bourbon barrels, a process which imparts a subtle complexity and smooth, approachable character to the vibrant blanco base. This aging gives the tequila its light golden hue and develops notes of caramel, vanilla, and spice that complement the cooked agave core.
