The term 'Appassimento' refers to the traditional winemaking technique where a portion of the grapes are carefully dried for several weeks after harvest. This process concentrates the sugars, colors, and flavors, resulting in a wine of exceptional structure and intensity. This expression offers a deep ruby color and a complex nose of ripe black cherry, plum, and subtle sweet spice.
