The Temple Bar 18 Year Old is a unique independent bottling from Dublin's Temple Bar Pub, finished in Malbec casks. Initially, the whiskey ages in a bourbon cask for 15 years, then undergoes a final three-year maturation in an Argentinian Malbec cask.
Roberto Appendino, an employee at Temple Bar and a native of Argentina, infuses his love for Irish whiskey and Argentinian wine into this product. The wine barrels are sourced from Bodega Bianchi, renowned for its ideal climate for cultivating the Malbec grape.
