This expression spends its initial twelve years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before being split into three different sherry wood types: Amoroso, Apostoles, and Matusalem Oloroso sherry butts. After a three-year period, the whiskies are reunited to create a complex and balanced flavor profile. This intricate process results in a deep amber spirit with notes of orange marmalade, rich honey, vanilla, and ginger spice on the nose.
