Cantinero Reposado Tequila is a fine example of traditional Mexican craftsmanship, produced from 100% blue agave grown in the Jalisco Highlands. This premium expression achieves its rich, complex character through a mandatory resting period in oak barrels for a minimum of two months, earning the "Reposado" (rested) designation. The oak maturation subtly smooths the fiery agave spirit and imparts a beautiful light golden hue.
On the nose, expect inviting aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, and hints of toasted oak. The palate is balanced and velvety, featuring notes of sweet caramel, baking spices, and a lingering touch of pepper. This tequila’s maturity makes it exceptionally smooth for sipping neat, but its robust flavor also ensures it shines through in elevated cocktails like a sophisticated Añejo Manhattan or a classic Tequila Old Fashioned.
