Dupont Hors d'Age Calvados is a refined spirit aged for a minimum of six years in oak barrels, with 25% of the aging taking place in new oak. Produced in the clay and Oxfordian marl soil of the Domaine Dupont terroir, this Calvados uses 80% bittersweet apples.
The apples are double-distilled to create this elegant product. It exhibits a golden yellow, slightly coppery color. On the nose, it is pleasant, fine, and complex, featuring light wood notes along with fruit aromas of apple and banana, and floral hints of rose and jasmine. Known as "the Rolls of Calvados," this sophisticated expression is perfect served neat as a digestive, ideally at 20-22°C, or over ice as an aperitif to allow its aromas to fully release.
