Starward Nova is fully matured at Starward’s Melbourne distillery in Australian red wine barrels, offering rich and fruit-forward notes of apples, pears, and plums, complemented by toasted cinnamon, cloves, and vanilla. The palate features red berries, caramel, and baking spices, with a long, balanced finish. Exclusively matured in barrels from local Australian wineries known for Shiraz, Cabernet, and Pinot Noir, these barrels are ‘wet filled’ with Starward’s new make spirit to ensure the whisky absorbs the rich wine character.
