Arran Quarter Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a powerful expression from the Isle of Arran Distillery. Initially matured in traditional ex-Bourbon barrels, it undergoes an extended finishing period in smaller Quarter Casks, which dramatically increases the contact area between the whisky and the wood. This finishing process accelerates maturation, resulting in a vibrant, intense, and complex flavor profile. Bottled at cask strength (typically around 56.2% ABV) and non-chill filtered, this whisky delivers exceptional depth. The palate bursts with notes of sweet vanilla, pineapple, and citrus zest, balanced by the strong influence of oak and warming spice. It offers a long, robust finish.
