Peat’s Beast PX Sherry Cask Whisky is a robust, cask-strength single malt that showcases a magnificent marriage of intense peat smoke and decadent sherry influence. Bottled at a powerful 54.1% ABV, this expression receives a finish in Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks, known for imparting deep, concentrated sweetness.
On the nose, expect rich, jammy dark fruits and baking spices layered over an earthy peat smoke and oily malt. The palate delivers a full-bodied experience where savory, medicinal maritime notes intertwine with flavors of dark chocolate, butterscotch, and spicy black pepper. The long, warm finish features lingering cooked plum and toasted oak, making it a complex and compelling choice for enthusiasts who appreciate bold sherry and peat.
