Teeling Small Batch Whiskey is a distinct and modern Irish whiskey that brings an innovative twist to Dublin's storied distilling history. This blend of malt and grain whiskeys is initially aged in ex-Bourbon barrels before undergoing a unique finishing period in rum casks. This extra maturation step is crucial, imparting a rich, sweet, and subtly spiced complexity that sets it apart.
Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, it preserves the whiskey's full flavor and texture. On the nose, it offers vibrant notes of vanilla, spice, and dried fruit, leading to a smooth palate layered with hints of honey, rose petals, and fig. The finish is medium-long, with a pleasant warmth and sweetness. This versatile whiskey is perfect for sipping neat, on the rocks, or as the foundation for a premium Irish cocktail.
