The English Original is an exceptionally balanced, unpeated single malt Scotch whisky, crafted by The English Distillery. This expression is celebrated as an accessible favourite for both newcomers and seasoned whisky lovers. It achieves its superb character through maturation in specially selected ex-bourbon casks, which impart subtle sweet and spicy notes. On the nose, The English Original offers gentle yet unmistakable aromas of vanilla and tropical fruits. The palate delivers a remarkable roundness, maintaining an easygoing nature with exceptional complexity. This whisky has received recognition for its quality, including a Gold Award for Taste at the 2022 Bartenders Brand Awards. It stands as an "at home anywhere" whisky, designed to impress with its smooth finish.
