Elements of Islay Bourbon Cask Whisky is a masterfully crafted single malt Scotch that showcases the distinctive smoky character of Islay while highlighting the creamy, sweet influence of American oak. This expression is matured exclusively in first-fill and refill bourbon barrels, ensuring a vibrant balance between peat and vanilla. On the nose, it offers maritime air, toasted marshmallows, and sweet citrus zest, seamlessly blending the island's intensity with bourbon's signature richness. The palate is characterized by bright notes of creamy fudge, gentle spice, and a persistent, but refined, medicinal smokiness. Bottled at a strength that preserves its full flavor profile, it offers a clean, complex, and highly approachable experience. It is a superb choice for enthusiasts seeking a peated whisky that maintains elegance and depth.
