Glenglassaugh Evolution Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a vibrant expression from this coastal Highland distillery, marking its journey back to full production. Named for its innovative maturation process, this whisky is aged in a careful selection of Tennessee first-fill American oak barrels, which previously held premium whiskey. This unique choice imbues the spirit with a distinct, sweet, and tropical character. Evolution offers notes of warm vanilla, creamy fudge, and sweet tropical fruits like pineapple and mango, all balanced by a delicate coastal salinity typical of Glenglassaugh. Non-chill filtered and bottled at 50% ABV, it presents a full-bodied texture and complexity, showcasing the lively spirit before the influence of long aging.
