Hinch 5 Years Double Wood Irish Whiskey is an exceptionally smooth single malt, crafted in County Down, Northern Ireland. This expression gains its distinctive character from a unique dual maturation process. It is initially aged for a minimum of five years in bourbon barrels, which imparts notes of vanilla, caramel, and a subtle sweetness. The whiskey is then finished in new, heavily charred American oak casks, contributing a layer of robust spice, toasted wood, and depth. The result is a beautifully balanced and complex spirit.
