Jim Beam Double Oak is a distinctive Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that undergoes an innovative secondary aging process. After its initial four years of maturation in new, charred American oak barrels, the liquid is transferred to a second newly charred oak barrel for an extended period. This 'double-oaking' intensifies the interaction between the whiskey and the wood, resulting in a deeper amber color and a more profound flavor profile. Bottled at 86 proof, it delivers a richer and smoother taste than the standard Jim Beam expression. Expect robust notes of vanilla, heavy caramel, and toasted wood, culminating in a complex, lingering finish with hints of baking spice. This expression is perfect for enthusiasts seeking a bold, oak-forward bourbon experience.
