Kilchoman Machir Bay is a renowned single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, celebrated for perfectly balancing the distillery’s characteristic peat smoke with delicate sweet notes. This core expression is primarily matured in ex-bourbon barrels, with a smaller proportion finished in oloroso sherry casks, contributing complexity and depth. The palate is initially soft and creamy, featuring tropical fruit, soft spice, and malt sweetness, quickly followed by a powerful yet beautifully integrated maritime smokiness.
