Kilchoman Machir Bay is a renowned single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, celebrated for perfectly balancing the distillery???s characteristic peat smoke with delicate sweet notes. This core expression is primarily matured in ex-bourbon barrels, with a smaller proportion finished in oloroso sherry casks, contributing complexity and depth. On the nose, it offers an inviting combination of vibrant citrus, vanilla, and intense coastal peat smoke. The palate is initially soft and creamy, featuring tropical fruit, soft spice, and malt sweetness, quickly followed by a powerful yet beautifully integrated maritime smokiness. Bottled at 46% ABV, the non-chill-filtered presentation ensures a full, natural flavor and a long, lingering finish.
