Kujira 24 Year Whisky is an exceptionally rare and unique expression from Okinawa, crafted by Kumesen Shuzo. Unlike traditional Japanese whiskies, this spirit is distilled from 100% selected rice and is matured for more than two decades in first-fill bourbon barrels. This distinct process, combined with the island's warm, tropical climate, accelerates the aging, yielding a strong aroma and a bolder, more complex flavor profile. The result is a highly developed Ryukyu whisky that showcases notes of rich oak, deep caramel, and savory tropical elements. It offers an utterly unique tasting experience that highlights the nuance and depth achieved over its long maturation period. It is best appreciated neat to savor its rare character.
