Mellow Corn Whiskey is a unique expression of American distilling tradition, produced by Heaven Hill at the historical Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. As one of the few Bottled-in-Bond corn whiskies available, it adheres to strict regulations, requiring it to be aged for at least four years and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). The mash bill must contain a minimum of 80% corn. This aging process in used oak barrels gives the whiskey its distinct pale color and soft, approachable flavor profile. Expect inviting notes of sweet corn, butterscotch, and honey, complemented by a mellow, warming finish. It’s an exceptional, high-quality whiskey that stands apart from typical bourbons, perfect for sipping neat or as a flavorful backbone in classic cocktails like the Old Fashioned.
