Mitchell & Son Green Spot Irish Whiskey, finished in Chateau Montelena Zinfandel wine casks, is a distinctive single pot still expression. On the nose, it presents crisp oak and soft sweetness, including notes of vanilla, white chocolate, and marshmallow, harmonized with signature Green Spot red apples and ripe pears. The influence of the wine cask introduces layers of pomegranate, cranberries, and maraschino cherries. The palate delivers a delightful sweet mouth coating that transitions to a dry note, balanced by pot still spices and a zesty citrus undertone. Ripe orchard fruit and red berries persist, finished by a touch of marzipan and toasted oak.
