Mitchells Red Spot is a highly-anticipated, full-bodied Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, meticulously aged for 15 years. It is triple distilled at Midleton Distillery from a mash bill of malted and un-malted barley. This complex spirit is matured in a unique combination of ex-Bourbon, ex-Oloroso Sherry, and sweet ex-Marsala fortified wine casks, a tradition worthy of its colorful past. The profile is remarkably deep and characterful. On the palate, expect rich layers of malt and cocoa, balanced by bright notes of banana, dried strawberries, and a touch of lemon curd. A lingering warmth of baking spice and vanilla provides a complex finish, making it a favorite among discerning whiskey enthusiasts.
