Penderyn Legend Welsh Single Malt Whisky is celebrated as the flagship expression from the Penderyn Distillery, situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park. This smooth and accessible whisky is matured in high-quality ex-bourbon barrels and finished in unique madeira wine casks, a signature of the distillery. Legend presents a light, fruity profile, characterized by notes of fresh apples, zesty citrus, and creamy vanilla. The unique Madeira finish imparts a delicate honeyed sweetness and a hint of spice, leading to a long, clean, and refreshing finish. Bottled at 41% ABV, it is exceptionally easy-drinking and is often recommended as an ideal gateway whisky for those new to single malts, shining neat or when mixed in a premium highball.
