Scapegrace Release VI: Fortuna is the sixth limited edition bottling in the Scapegrace Single Malt series, hailing from New Zealand. This expression celebrates the marriage of unique casks to create a complex and layered whisky. It is meticulously crafted from 100% locally sourced New Zealand barley and pristine water. Fortuna is aged in a combination of carefully selected, high-quality ex-Bourbon and virgin French oak casks, which imparts a rich complexity and depth. The nose offers inviting aromas of vanilla, honey, and subtle spice, evolving into a palate layered with dark fruit, toasted nuts, and a velvety oak finish. Bottled at a robust strength, this release showcases Scapegrace's commitment to expressive, non-chill filtered single malt whisky, appealing to collectors and connoisseurs alike.
