The Dalmore Port Wood Reserve is a sophisticated Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the Highlands, celebrated for its unique finishing process. This expression is initially aged in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, establishing a foundation of sweet vanilla and subtle spice. It is then meticulously finished in specially selected Port pipes sourced from renowned Wineries in the Douro region of Portugal. This secondary maturation imparts a rich complexity and distinctive character. The resulting whisky boasts a vibrant palate of red berries, sweet plums, and toasted walnuts, beautifully balanced by hints of tropical fruit and dark chocolate.
