This expression is uniquely aged in three distinct types of casks: first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels, 10-year-old Tawny Port pipes, and three-year-old Matusalem sherry butts. This careful maturation creates a remarkably complex and harmonious profile. On the nose, the Trio offers rich notes of honey, ripe plums, and fine chocolate. The palate delivers a cascade of flavor, combining soft vanilla from the Bourbon wood with the dark fruit and spices imparted by the sherry and port.
