The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve is a vibrant and unconventional single malt Scotch whisky that breaks from Speyside tradition with a distinctive rum cask finish. Initially matured in traditional oak casks, a portion of the spirit is selectively finished in barrels that previously held Caribbean rum. This finishing process infuses the classic smooth, fruity profile of The Glenlivet with tropical notes, resulting in an expression that is exceptionally versatile and easy-drinking. Expect inviting aromas of sweet pear and red apple, balanced by an explosion of ripe banana and creamy coconut on the palate. Bottled at 40% ABV, it offers a remarkably smooth texture and a sweet, lingering finish that makes it ideal for enjoying neat, on the rocks, or as the foundation for a refreshing highball cocktail.
