Tullibardine Burgundy 228 is a distinctive Highland single malt Scotch whisky that exemplifies the distillery's unique finishing philosophy. Following initial maturation in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels, the spirit is finished for approximately 12 months in 228-liter Burgundy wine barriques sourced from the C??te d'Or region of France. This secondary maturation imparts a rich and complex character, enhancing the whisky's naturally sweet, floral profile. Expect inviting aromas of red berries, toasted oak, and a subtle spiciness. On the palate, the whisky delivers a velvety texture with deep notes of dark fruit, cherry, and chocolate, balanced by the classic honeyed malt of Tullibardine.
