Tullibardine Sauternes Cask Finish Whisky is a luxurious Highland single malt known for its deliciously creamy and fruity character. Named "225" for the size of the cask used, this expression undergoes a secondary maturation in 225-litre casks that previously held fine Sauternes dessert wine, such as those from Château Suduiraut. This unique finishing process imparts a stunning golden hue and a complex flavor profile. The nose is bright with notes of citrus peels and allspice. On the palate, expect a rich, spiced entry featuring layers of candied orange and Seville marmalade. The combination of Highland spirit and noble dessert wine results in a superbly fruity and well-balanced whisky, culminating in a medium finish with lingering sweet spices.
