West Cork Bourbon Cask Finished Irish Whiskey is a triple-distilled, non-chill filtered blend, handcrafted in Skibbereen, County Cork. This expression begins its life matured in first-fill barrels, before being finished for a minimum of six months in select Bourbon casks. This secondary maturation process imparts a signature sweetness and complexity to the spirit. Expect inviting aromas of vanilla and butterscotch on the nose, leading to a smooth palate rich with notes of honey, toasted grain, and a hint of dark chocolate. The finish is long and satisfying, showcasing the whiskey’s balanced character and the influence of the American oak. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is an excellent example of contemporary Irish craftsmanship.
