Westland American Oak Single Malt Whiskey is a cornerstone expression from the renowned Seattle distillery, showcasing the unique character of malted barley matured exclusively in new American oak casks. Distilled from a mash bill including 100% malted barley, this whiskey emphasizes the grain-forward style for which Westland is known. The use of new charred American oak imparts rich, deep flavors of vanilla, caramel, and baking spice, beautifully complementing the inherent malt sweetness.
This bottling is an elegant exploration of the influence of new American oak on single malt. Expect a complex profile with notes of crème brûlée, dark chocolate, and subtle fruit, culminating in a long, velvety finish. It is a bold, modern American single malt that honors tradition while forging its own path.
