Wolfburn Langskip is a robust and spirited single malt from the Wolfburn distillery in Thurso, Scotland, named after the Viking longships that once traversed these northern waters. Distilled from unpeated malt and matured exclusively in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels, Langskip delivers a high-intensity, yet refined, profile. Bottled at a bracing 58% ABV, this expression is non-chill filtered and natural in color, maintaining the full character developed during maturation. The nose offers sweet notes of fresh vanilla, baked apples, and a hint of white chocolate. The palate is immediately powerful, brimming with caramel, dry spice, and rich oak, leading to a lingering, warm finish. Langskip is a perfect showcase of Wolfburn???s bold, modern Highland style.
