Alpha Zeta Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso is a distinctive red wine from the Veneto region, crafted using the traditional Ripasso method. This technique involves refermenting the Valpolicella base wine on the leftover dried grape skins from Amarone production, enriching the wine with exceptional depth and concentration.
The result is a "Superiore" wine that offers remarkable complexity. Expect a richly expressive nose featuring notes of ripe cherry, plum, and a hint of sweet spice, which are intensified by the drying process.
