Balcones Texas Single Malt Classic Edition Whiskey is a bold and unique expression, offering a rich tapestry of flavors born from the innovative spirit of Texas distilling. The nose is a complex combination of heavy earth, oak, and rich caramel, intertwined with spicier notes like incense and burnt cedar, reminiscent of summer grilling. On the palate, it delivers a round, creamy sensation with notes of brown sugar and cinnamon-infused Lapsang Souchong tea. The finish is long and revealing, where the smoky tea flavors build to dry, spicy notes of allspice, cardamom, and hints of grilled chilies. This whiskey showcases exceptional depth and character, making it a compelling choice for the adventurous single malt enthusiast.
