Cotswolds Founder's Choice is a robust and intense single malt whisky, bottled at cask strength to maximize its profound flavor. This exceptional expression is matured entirely in highly active American oak red wine casks—which were shaved, toasted, and re-charred using a process pioneered by the late Dr. Jim Swan.
This unique maturation imparts a rich color and a complex profile that sings with strong notes of toffee, dark chocolate, and red fruits like figs and raspberries. On the palate, you'll also find warming spices such as cinnamon and ginger, complemented by touches of sweet vanilla and mocha. Non-chill filtered with natural coloring, this Founder’s Choice offers a full-bodied, long, and satisfying finish for the discerning whisky enthusiast.
