Dewar's 8 Years French Smooth Apple is a unique blended Scotch whisky that combines traditional Scottish aging with a modern, flavorful finish. This expression is initially aged for a minimum of eight years in oak casks, achieving the signature smoothness and balanced character for which Dewar's is known. Following the initial maturation, the whisky is finished in select apple brandy casks, typically Calvados casks from France. This secondary maturation imparts a distinctively sweet and crisp fruit profile, layering notes of baked apple, honey, and subtle spice over the classic Scotch foundation of heather and vanilla.
