Janneau VSOP is a distinguished expression from the Janneau house, one of the oldest and most respected Armagnac producers. This Very Superior Old Pale is a blend of eaux-de-vie sourced from the Bas Armagnac and T??nar??ze regions, renowned for producing complex and long-lived spirits. Distilled in both continuous and pot stills, and aged for a minimum of seven years in French oak casks, this Armagnac achieves exceptional depth. It presents a rich, golden amber color. On the nose, Janneau VSOP is expressive with inviting aromas of vanilla, dried apricots, plum, and a hint of rancio???the desirable nutty, autumnal character indicative of fine, aged Armagnac. The palate is elegant and full-bodied, offering warm flavors of honey, baked apples, and mild spice, leading to a smooth, prolonged finish. It is a perfect introduction to the quality of premium Armagnac.
